Tring Athletic bounced back to winning ways with a comprehensive victory over basement side Sawbridgeworth Town.
They made a fine start when Max Hercules fired home from the corner of the box on 5 mins and then survived a couple of scares when free headers off corners at the other end were not exploited.
Chamberlain and Delguardio both went close before Delguardio made it 2 on 33 mins. He outmuscled the centre half marker in a one on one and fired enigmatically into the roof of the net. There was still time for Peerless to strike the post before the teams went off for half time.
The second half saw more of the same. On 60 mins it was 3, Deer found Delguardio who slipped in Shepherd. He fired home despite a slight deflection.
Two 16 year olds then entered the fray for Tring - Noah Butler and Jonah Howgego. The latter had a hand in the 4th. Deer surged down the left and fed him. He slipped in Frankie Hercules - who rounded his marker before firing past the custodian in the Sawbridgeworth goal.
A good day at the office.
